Thomas Putter

Thomas Putter, Founder and Executive Chairman. Thomas is a serial investor, entrepreneur and manager. He is the former CEO of Allianz Capital Partners and Allianz Alternative Assets Holding, as well as former Chairman of the German Private Equity and Venture Capital Association.

Marcus Shadbolt

Marcus Shadbolt, FCA, Partner. Marcus has over 30 years of investment and advisory experience. Until the end of 2023 he was CEO of Vermilion Partners, a China-focused M&A advisory firm he co-founded in 2004 and which was sold to Natixis SA (Groupe BPCE) in 2018. Prior to co-founding Vermilion, Marcus was a Director at Botts & Company, a European mid-market private equity firm.

Erik Feingold

Erik Feingold, Partner. Erik has over 30 years of experience as a tech entrepreneur, senior executive and M&A veteran. His experience includes founding Feingold Technologies GmbH which was backed by Ancora before its successful sale to Sharecare, Inc.

Stephan Mohrhardt

Stephan Mohrhardt, CFA, Partner. Stephan brings nearly 20 years of experience in private equity, corporate finance, and financial services assurance and transaction services. Stephan manages venture capital investments in Europe and the US, covering the fintech, wealthtech, healthcare and cleantech sectors.

Julian Clements

Julian Clements, FCA, Chief Financial
Officer and Head of Compliance.  Julian is a Chartered Accountant and a qualified barrister. He is regulated in the UK by the Financial Conduct Authority and previously held senior positions at Vermilion Partners, Rothschild & Co and EY.

Ute Ecker

Ute Ecker, Corporate Counsel. Ute is a German lawyer with over 25 years of experience within the financial and insurance industries and over 15 years of experience in commercial and corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and compliance.

Chris Meyer

Chris Meyer, Executive Consultant. Chris has 30+ years in insurance, financial services, and the private equity industries. Within Ancora, Chris leads the project management function and assists Ancora’s portfolio companies, supporting operational transformation projects. He works throughout the investment lifecycle from initial investment identification and analysis to operational and strategic projects with portfolio companies. Chris holds an MBA from Northwestern University.

Terence Rayee

Terence Rayee, Senior Data Scientist.
Terence leads AIT development focusing in particular on the scaling and refinement of the proprietary data analysis engine. Prior to AIT, he was a Project Engineer for Babcock Wanson and a Nuclear Systems Engineer at Westinghouse.

Peter Bludau

Peter Bludau, Senior Software Engineer. Peter is responsible for designing and developing robust and reliable data products and software solutions for AIT. Prior to Ancora, Peter worked at Fortiss, a Germany-based research institute for software-intensive systems, where he headed the Center for Code Excellence. Peter is currently finalising his PhD in Computer Science, having previously gained a BSs and MSc in the same subject.

Kathrin Walbaum

Kathrin Walbaum, Head of Group Operations. Kathrin manages the Group’s office infrastructure and back-office functions as well as heading the Chairman’s office. She previously worked at Allianz Capital Partners, Lotus Development and Informix Software.
